Year-over-year, Clark County’s typical home value has moved lower, while asking prices have pushed higher. The typical home value is down double-digits from last April, yet the median list price has climbed by about 15 percent over the same period. Homes sold are up nearly 20 percent year over year, pointing to more closed deals despite shifting prices.

In the latest monthly snapshot for April 2026, the median list price reached roughly $247,000, up almost 10 percent from March. New listings, however, dropped sharply from the prior month and are down more than 40 percent compared with last year, limiting fresh options for buyers.

Inventory in Clark County sat at about 100 active listings, only slightly below last year and with months of supply around 5.1, versus 2.9 months across Wisconsin overall. Homes are taking longer to sell than a year ago, with median days on market near 97, yet more than a third of recent sales closed above list price and the average sale-to-list ratio has ticked up. Together, these patterns support a seller’s market designation, even with some softening in values.
