About Me

I was born in Illinois but moved to Japan in 2009 to teach English and continue my language studies. In 2016, I moved to Monroe, MI, and haven't left since! I love living in Southeast Michigan because of the wonderfully kind people, access to scenic nature views, proximity to Toledo, Detroit, and Ann Arbor, and the numerous family-friendly events that take place all year round. I spend my time in Monroe giving back to the community through various volunteer efforts. Although I may not have grown up here, I understand why so many choose to call Southeast Michigan home!

For the Community

Every Monday, I serve food to communities in need.
I have been working in rescue for cats and dogs for the past 10 years, including transporting injured wildlife to rehabbers through Last Day Dog Rescue.
I founded Roll Plus Bond, a tabletop role-playing community that has raised over $43,000 for various charitable organizations.
I participate in River Raisin Cleanup and Cultivate Community.
I have previously served on the Monroe City Bicycle and Trails Advisory Committee and ProMedica's LGBTQ+ Patient and Family Advisory Committee.
