I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education from Nicholls State University and was a Math Educator for 13 years prior to obtaining my Real Estate license. My experience in education allowed me to hone my skills in communication, problem-solving, and working well with people from diverse backgrounds. With my husband by my side and four fur babies, I began my journey into real estate and eagerly became part of a Mega Team in our area. As a buyer's agent on the team, I successfully became the number one buyer’s agent in our office.

I continued my journey and transitioned to a solo agent within Keller Williams. Through hard work and determination, I have received many rewards and accolades over the years. I received the Breakthrough Award, the Gary Keller Award, as well as other awards for social media, sales volume as a single agent, and number of units sold in my market center. I also was nominated for and won "Best of Ascension" in 2020, hosted the Emmy-nominated show "The American Dream," featuring lifestyle and real estate in the local area from 2022 to 2023, and was featured on the cover of "Real Producers" magazine in January 2024.

In 2024, I had a vision to serve and help more of our community learn about homeownership and become homeowners, so I started The Huber Team. Our team works with determination, honor, and integrity! Our mission is to build trust with our clients, educate them about the entire process, guide them through important decisions, and support them from our first conversation to the closing table.

Having lived and worked in the Greater Baton Rouge area for many years, we understand what makes our community and the people who call it home so special. From enjoying the LSU Tigers play in Tiger Stadium, the Jambalaya Festival at Jambalaya Park in Gonzales, to the local bookstores and coffee shops, the Greater Baton Rouge area is a special place that we are proud to call home.

I was moving from Maryland and needed a realtor who could meet my specific needs. While waiting for other realtors to return my calls, Jenny Ortego answered the phone, listened carefully, and took immediate action. I only had a couple of days to search in person, and everything else had to be handled remotely since I was coming from out of state.
