Hi, my name is Kirt Meyer I am a principal broker with John L Scott Real Estate. I was born and raised in
Southern Oregon and have deep roots in our community. My family first moved to this area in 1910 and
started growing pears which was one of the top industries for many decades in the Rogue Valley until
recent years.
I also have a background in construction and was a general contractor from 1996 to 2006. During this
time, I built 30 homes in Ashland plus 2 remodels. I also built 2 homes, a 4 plex, and did 4 remodels in
Medford.
Having a background in both farming and in construction, this experience has instilled in me a strong
work ethic which I have brought with me as a principal broker in the real estate industry. I have been in

My girlfriend and I were first time home buyers. I was put in contact with Kirt through realtor.com to inquire about a house that disappeared from the market. Kirt quickly got in contact with the owners to let them know of our interest and to see if they were still interested in selling. He then went out and did a video walkthrough of the house as we lived out of state. During this walkthrough he displayed his past experience as a contractor to point out potential issues and deficiencies while also noting the condition of various aspects of the house. We went under contract with Kirt and he was very responsive and easy to communicate with through the entire process. Every request or question we had was quickly resolved. We were set to close but due to an issue with our lender the date was pushed back, which would have left us temporarily homeless but Kirt secured us an early occupancy and we'll be forever grateful. I highly recommend Kirt to anyone in need of a great realtor!
