Whitney Shelton

I am from Newport News Virginia, and a graduate of Virginia Tech. Charleston has been my home for the past 21 years. In 2009, I started a nonprofit called Chase After a Cure to raise money for childhood cancer. For the next ten years I ran the nonprofit and raised over a million dollars as well as advocated for more federal funding in Washington DC. I also worked as a paralegal helping people through divorces. My experience as a family law paralegal gave me firsthand knowledge of how the real estate side of divorces is extremely emotional and specific. My experience gives me the ability to navigate each side and help each party through the entire process smoothly. I am a passionate person who is committed to helping others and making a difference. Seeing the happiness on my clients faces when they find their dream home or sell their home for top dollar is what makes my real estate career extremely rewarding.
