April’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $1,831,290—down 5.76% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $641,000 in Norwalk for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $652,000 in May.
Rowayton had 16 new listings and 11 listings that went under contract in April, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 11—up 22.22% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in May.
