For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $642,500 in Norwalk for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $643,750 in October.
West Norwalk had 36 new listings and 33 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 22—down 4.35% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.
The median listing price for homes in West Norwalk grew 13.49% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $715,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year.
