September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $1,625,000—up 40.09% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $642,500 in Norwalk for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $643,750 in October.

Silvermine had 12 new listings and 18 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 8—up 60.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.

The median listing price for homes in Silvermine grew 1.46% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $1,425,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
