January’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $163,000—up 53.05% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $290,600 in Illinois for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $286,400 in February.
Randolph County had 20 new listings and 16 listings that went under contract in January, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 70—up 2.94% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in February.

The median listing price for homes in Randolph County fell 1.87% from December to January, bringing the current median listing price to $152,000.
