Inventory in Huntington County has tightened slightly, with about 131 active listings in August and a modest year-over-year increase. New listings dropped sharply month over month, falling more than 40 percent, yet they were still a bit higher than a year ago. Pending sales were nearly flat compared with last year, suggesting buyer interest is holding even as fewer homes come to market.

Compared with Indiana overall, Huntington County homes are more affordable, with a lower median sale price but tighter inventory than the state’s 2.8 months of supply.
