Whitley County had 15 new listings and 23 listings that went under contract in December, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 48—down 17.24% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in January.
Of those 48 active listings, 35.42% reduced their price in the month of December. The median listing price for homes in Whitley County grew 22.99% from November to December, bringing the current median listing price to $249,000. Based on projected data for January, listing prices may continue to grow.
