De Soto Parish’s housing prices have climbed sharply over the past year, with the typical home value up more than 47 percent and now well above the Louisiana state median. Inventory has tightened over the same period, as active listings have dropped by more than a quarter while months of supply has contracted to 3.2, compared with 4.8 months statewide.
