Year-over-year, Antrim County is seeing softer pricing and slower activity than last September. The typical home value is down nearly a quarter, while homes sold and new listings have each fallen by about 12 to 23 percent. At the same time, the share of properties sold above asking has edged slightly lower, pointing to less bidding pressure than a year ago.
In the latest September 2026 snapshot, the median list price sits just under $394,000, up more than 22 percent from last year even as the typical sold price is lower. Inventory has tightened, with active listings down nearly 12 percent annually to 299 and months of supply at 4.7, notably above the Michigan state level of 3.1 months.
Homes are taking longer to sell, with median days on market climbing to 74, a 17 percent increase from last year and up from 38 days in early summer. Buyers may find more negotiating room, reflected in an average sale-to-list ratio around 94 percent and only about 6 percent of homes closing above list price, while sellers must adjust expectations to current conditions.
