Berkley had 30 new listings and 26 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 43—down 8.51% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.
Of those 43 active listings, 48.84% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Berkley grew 3.74% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $344,900. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year.
