Homes in Oakview are taking much longer to sell in the latest rolling three-month view, with a median of 132 days on market compared with just days or weeks in much of the recent past. This slower pace contrasts with nearby Muskegon overall, where a lower months of supply of 2.4 points to a tighter, faster-moving market than Oakview’s 3.6 months of supply.
Prices have eased back over the past year, with the typical home value down nearly 20 percent year over year. List prices have followed a similar pattern, falling by a comparable margin from last year’s level.
