Freeborn County had 18 new listings and 26 listings that went under contract in December, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 88—down 18.52% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in January.
Of those 88 active listings, 22.73% reduced their price in the month of December. The median listing price for homes in Freeborn County grew 12.66% from November to December, bringing the current median listing price to $194,900. Based on projected data for January, listing prices may continue to grow.
