Looking at May 2026 specifically, the median list price reached about $396,000 while the typical home value was just over $381,000. Homes sold more briskly than earlier in the year, with 72 sales and a median of 26 days on market, down from April and far below the slower winter pace.
Inventory conditions also shifted, as active listings climbed more than 20 percent from a year ago while months of supply edged down to 2.2, reinforcing Rice County’s seller’s market status.
