The typical home value in Iron County is projected to be $205,730 for the month of November. October’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $175,000—down 14.0% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $284,800 in Missouri for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $287,150 in November.

Iron County had 12 new listings and 16 listings that went under contract in October, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 46—up 2.22% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in November.

Of those 46 active listings, 26.09% reduced their price in the month of October. The median listing price for homes in Iron County grew 4.41% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $166,950. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to grow.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year. In October 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 62 days, compared to 17 days in October 2024. In recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be increasing. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this November.
