September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $278,750—up 19.12% over the previous 12 months. Perry County had 11 new listings and 13 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 27—up 22.73% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
Of those 27 active listings, 29.63% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Perry County fell 31.32% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $205,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to fall.

In September 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 52 days, compared to 64 days in September 2024.
