The typical home value in St. Louis County is projected to be $302,250 for the month of November. October’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $299,500—up 15.19% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $284,800 in Missouri for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $287,150 in November.

St. Louis County had 2,220 active listings in October, including 1,461 new listings. Overall, active listings were up 2.54% from the previous month.

Of those 2,220 active listings, 40.59% reduced their price in the month of October. The median listing price for homes in St. Louis County fell 1.09% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $255,000. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell year-over-year. In October 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 22 days, compared to 29 days in October 2024. In recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be steady. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this November.
