For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $270,000 in Monroe County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $265,000 in October.
Gates had 9 new listings and 7 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 10—up 42.86% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
Of those 10 active listings, 10.0% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Gates grew 12.68% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $199,900. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
