Genesee County home values have softened compared to a year ago, with the typical home value down nearly 9 percent. At the same time, the median list price is up about 8 percent year over year, suggesting sellers are still aiming higher even as closed prices dip. Homes are also taking slightly longer to sell than last August, with median days on market up about 3 percent.
