For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $485,000 in Wake County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $490,340 in May.

Holly Springs had 100 new listings and 72 listings that went under contract in April, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 108—up 25.58% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in May.

Of those 108 active listings, 47.22% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in Holly Springs fell 1.56% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $634,950. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year.
