That pace has also sped up sharply compared with a year ago, as typical days on market dropped from the low 20s to single digits. Supply has tightened even as new listings and active inventory have shifted. Months of supply is under two months in Northeast Portland, well below Portland’s roughly three months and consistent with its classification as a seller’s market. Active listings are down nearly 19% from a year ago even though the number of homes sold has edged up slightly.
