Price County’s housing market looks notably different from a year ago. Typical home values are up more than 35% year over year, while median list prices have actually dipped slightly over the same period. Inventory has grown more than 75% in months of supply, and the area is now categorized as a buyer’s market.

In the latest monthly snapshot for May 2026, the typical home value sits around $236,790, with a median list price near $222,469. Buyers are seeing more choices as active listings climbed to 133, and months of supply, at 5.9, is roughly double Wisconsin’s statewide level of 2.9 months.

Sales activity is picking up month to month, with homes sold doubling from April to 20 and new listings jumping more than 100% to 45. At the same time, homes are taking longer to sell, with a median of 125 days on market, and only about 16% closing above list price as the average sale-to-list ratio hovers just under 96%.
