I contacted Amy and Henry as listing agent for a house in Dunnellon, Fl. We setup a showing appointment and everything seemed fine. Then one day before the scheduled showing Amy contacted me that I need to sign a buyer's agreement with them and they emailed me the document. The document was an exclusive buyer's agreement with full 3% commission and for all of Marion County. I have seen houses in Marion County and continue with other realtors and explained that I cannot sign this document. I suggested just a showing agreement specific to the property and keep buyer's commission open as negotiable and limit the showing agreement to be valid for 5 days. Amy refused to provide and refused to show me the house. This brokerage and realtor is more concerned about commission checks than showing houses they have listed to potential buyers. I refuse to be represented by one brokerage that represents as well the seller.
