I started my real estate career at Realty World Beach Properties in Manhattan Beach in 1987. In those days, I was cold calling relentlessly—without a beeper or cell phone, I gave out my home number so clients could call me back. I was just a 19-year-old eager to succeed, and that hunger for success remains strong today.
