Signal Hill’s rolling three-month data through September 2026 shows cooling prices compared with a year earlier. The typical home value is down about 10 percent year over year, even as the median list price is up more than 20 percent. Homes are also closing faster than last year, with median days on market down about 22 percent.
Looking at the latest rolling period, inventory has tightened while demand has stayed fairly steady. Active listings are down more than 11 percent from a year ago and months of supply has slipped to 2.8, reinforcing the area’s seller’s market designation even as homes sold are down nearly 14 percent year over year.
