Barbara Mark had a good deal of perseverance trying to sell my building which was a church built around 1946. The first buyers were a young couple who built another room in the sanctuary but then could not get the necessary loan. We both felt very badly about this. Barbara empathized with the couple in this situation. She had several buyers in similar situations where additional work needed to be done prior to selling and I imagine she handled each situation as patiently and as kindly as she did with me.

Barbara Mark managed a very active and hectic first two weeks of showings and inquiries professionally and kept me appraised at each interval.

Her broker, Kevin Smith was a great help and creative in tapping his many years of experience to quickly resolve some surprise title issues that arose.

I am writing this specifically because it is exactly how I came to choose Barbara Mark as my Real Estate Agent; through the testimonials I read about other client's experiences with her. I was in a particularly difficult situation, having looked at other properties with other agents with no success. I came to Barbara asking for her help, and even after hearing the details of my story, she still agreed to become my agent. I found her to be extremely attentive to my specific needs and always responded to me in a timely manner no matter how busy she was. Due to the urgency of my situation, she became relentless in her pursuit of a home for me to purchase, taking me wherever I needed to go even if the home was located out of her immediate service area. I found her to be quite knowledgeable about the basic construction of homes so that as we did our walk through of each property, her observations were key to my decision making process. Always full of helpful suggestions and new ways of perceiving something, I found her ideas to be particularly insightful. Her vast knowledge of real estate and how it applied to my situation, proved to be an invaluable asset as we moved forward through the process. Overall, she was always there for me, helping me, guiding me. But no matter what my decision, she always supported the direction I chose to go in, an incredible asset in my search for a new home. Before we started working with Barbara, we had spent several months working with another agent and had no luck finding a house. We were lucky enough to find Barbara and as soon as we started working with her, things became much easier. We found our dream home within several weeks of working with her. We met Barabara as we were looking for houses in the area. She was proactive to help us even when she found out the move could not take place until we sold our out-of-state house. She kept up with communication and was there on the spot when our house sold. We arrived in the area and she immediately provided options to us.

She followed every conversation up with email. She knew the area well. When we asked to see a house, she immediately lined up a showing. She gave us inside into potential issues with houses. She worked for us, not just for a sale.

Barabara was 100% for us and treated us like family. Some email communications were unclear due to the amount of paperwork being exchanged. Barbara cleared up any questions or concerns immediately.

Barbara went the extra mile. Sellers removed swings from the swingset that we thought would be left (Swingset was listed as a property to stay and of course we assumed swings would be included). Barbara provided two of her own swings so our 3-year-old grandaughter could swing immediately at the new house.

We knew Barbara Mark from church, and we knew that she was trustworthy and reliable. We wanted to support someone that shared our Christian faith. We were moving across the country and had to do many things by proxy. Knowing our realtor's character and work ethic were outstanding made the selling process much less stressful.

This was a sale for the record books and Barbara deserves special commendation for all that she did to make it work out. She kept respectfully pressing forward, when most would have given up. In the end, the sale went through exactly as we had hoped and she deserves full credit for that. Her professionalism is beyond measure, and we would highly recommend her to anyone needing the services of a realtor.

Barbara impressed us when we met her 8 years ago because she was the only agent out of the 10 different houses and agents that we looked at who took the time to walk around and show us the house. She is very knowledgeable when looking at homes to point out both good and bad aspects.
