I've worked with Barbara for months to find the perfect home in the right area for me. After a few times of postponing my home search due to not seeing anything on the market to my liking, Barbara was only one call away whenever I was ready to start looking at homes again. She was such a huge help dealing with different lenders, finding out in-depth house information, and going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with every decision I made. Barbara Mark is the most amazing agent you could possibly have! We met her through our Aunt who had a few bad experiences with other agents, and fortunately crossed paths with Barb at an open house. Barb helped her to close on her home, as well as another family members home afterward. So when it was my turn, my Aunt made sure we went with Barb also, and we have ZERO regrets! To say she went above and beyond is an understatement. She is so kind, caring, patient, and understanding. She is so knowledgeable of houses, and she voiced her opinion when she would notice things that we were not trained to see, and made sure wherever we chose would be safe for our children. This review is LONG overdue!!!!
This was my first time purchasing a home. I was told by many people, that the first home buying experience is horrible, impossible, and lengthy. I can confidentially say I did not encounter any of those issues. I was referred to Barbara Mark by my mom, who was very adamant about using her as my realtor. When I first started looking at homes, I was living 2 hours away and finishing my last month of work so my availability was very very limited. Despite some of the obstacles that were in the way, Barbara still decided to work with me, and for that I am so thankful. Barbara is very very thorough, professional and very smart. I went into this experience not knowing anyyything.. trully anything about what I was getting myself into. The thing that stood out to me the most about Barbara is her attention to detail. Boy is she sharp!!!! Barbara always came prepared to answer any and all of my questions, she always had an extra copy of the information about the house we were looking at, and she remembered tiny details about me that I forgot I even told her. It is clear that her goal is to find a home that best fits your needs, rather than just selling you any home and I truly believe and saw that. She never rushed me to make a decision even though I loved almost every home I looked at, but encouraged me to think about the pros and cons of each house. After I found the house that I was going to purchase, I was told I needed to take a "first homeowner" course. Lucky for me, it was a breeze because Barbara taught me SO much WHILE we were house shopping, so this course would have taken much longer for me to finish had she not be so thorough in teaching me. She didn't have to either!!! She basically taught me what this course taught me, but simplified it for me and explained it to me in a way I would understand. I would absolutely, positively, HIGHLY recommend Barbara to anyone who is purchasing a home...first time or 10th time because she cares about each and every one of her customers. She took me under her wing and treated me like her own, and there was never a time that I felt like I couldn't call or text her when I had questions. To give you an idea of how amazing she is, here is a breakdown of my oh so very short but amazing experience with Barbara...
March 11 2022: Pre-approved, still living 2 hours away
May 6 2022: closed on house
I couldn't have asked for a smoother or quicker process during the most hectic time in the real estate market. I could go on for 18 pages front and back on my experience with Barbara, but I will end it with this...look no further, get on a wait list if she isn't available to work with and trust me when I say that you will find the home you've been dreaming of. We have worked with Barbara Mark twice now to purchase a rental and once to sell a rental. She impressed us the first time we met her when she showed us a home and walked through the entire house with us and pointed out things, both good and bad about the house. No other realtor had done that in our rental home search. Since that first meeting, Barbara has been on top of everything, informing us promptly through the process and going above to help us buy this home with a short deadline.

I can't express how helpful Barbara was enough! Between helping hold the baby as we did walk throughs to dealing with our crazy schedule with my husband being away , she really has exceeded the expectations I had of a realtor! What an amazing realtor and person she is!
