We met Jo first as a client and then we became her clients. She actively pursued us for the listing of our house. She came over right away and did a walk through of the house with us, told us some things to move out, repair, and clean. We met a few days later with an advertising plan, comps, and price point. We had known Jo Kralicek through Boy Scouts and her PR experience through the Bismarck Tribune. She sent us mailings and emails as an agent and knowing her previously that's what led us to her. So when we needed to sell my mother's home, we automatically thought of Jo because it was nice to personally know our agent.

She laid out a real clear sales plan and explained how the process would go, what we needed to do to get mom's house ready for listing, and a rough timeline of how things would go once we accepted an offer.

Jo researched other properties for sale in the neighborhoods around my mother's house to get an accurate reflection of what those homes were selling for to come up with a fair listing price. She was very knowledgeable about the different types of loans that potential buyers would be looking at and what that would mean for us. She also took the time to keep my mother informed at the care center she resides in and went out of her way to have my mother sign some paperwork about the property by actually visiting her in person.

Once the listing date was set on a Thursday, she agressively set up 2 Open Houses for the first weekend. By that Sunday we had 2 offers already for more than our asking price.

After we accepted the offer, Jo took care of everything involving the closing date and made sure that we got the needed forms and other paperwork required for closing in order.

Jo always dressed and acted professionally but had a real down to earth way of communicating with us that made us feel very comfortable.

We can't think of any home sale going more smoothly and getting the best price for my mother's home was icing on the cake.

Jo is a consummate professional. I do not know if we were her only clients or not, but from the beginning it felt like we were. Every time I called, she answered. Every text I sent was met with a response immediately and if not it was within minutes. Having to wait a minute or two was the rare occurrence.
Communication is critical from starting to shop for houses through closing. Jo kept the lines of communication open day, night, weekday, and weekend. She was always prepared, had documents complete and ready, and offered us all the literature we could read to ensure our success.

My brother, Tom Schmidt, found the realtor, Century 21 Morrison Realty, that had done business in the rural areas around Bismarck. As I researched, I, too heard great reports of Century 21 Realty. We wanted the word out for our parents home to a larger area than the small town area Hazelton. The house sold right away and we were pleased. We are glad we went with Century 21 Morrison Realty.

As for other advertising, I believe the advertising was only online but I am not sure. I saw the online ad and the second day it was online, the buyer looked at the house, loved it, and put a bid on the house. A week later the ad was off the online ad. JoEllen Kralicek did an excellent job of keeping both my brother and myself informed of all the transactions taking place. We were never left in the dark. JoEllen contacted us via phone, conference calls, emails, text messages and FAXs. We are very pleased with her work on the sale of our parents house as both my brother an I do not live in the Hazelton area.
