I can't recommend Leah any more positively. She was recommended to me by a work colleague that has lived in the Athens area for many many years. My wife and I are still fairly new to Athens and Leah was the best possible choice to work as our buyer's agent, given that we mostly knew nothing about the market and school districts! She knows the market in Athens, Oconee County, and the surrounding area and was able to share insight with us about elementary schools. When we asked for recommendations for inspectors and a mortgage lender she gave us great options. Our offer was accepted in a multi-offer situation. She also salvaged an on-time closing for us when the seller's agent made a (stupid) mistake that could have delayed or derailed closing. Leah was fantastic to work with and my family was super happy with her work on our behalf.

Leah is awesome! She is on top of everything and kept us on track. We had a less than 30 day closing with 3 major holidays in between on a highly competitive property (seller had 7 offers within the first few hours). She continuously kept open communication with us on what we needed to do, made great suggestions to stay ahead of the due dates/milestones to closing, and always gave us advice when asked on how to proceed with our best interest in mind. She’s got the perfect balance of aggressiveness and when to hold back and is the type of realtor we needed to close the deal. My parents listed property in Athens, Ga with another agent in December of 2022. Sixty days later, the property had not moved. We could not understand. After digging we found out he had not even shown the property in the 60 days he had it. Then we got Leah Leggett. Leah had the property for less than a week and had three offers on the table for it. We closed a few weeks later and the process was seamless. She is professional, communicates clearly and readily available to answer questions. Our only regret is that we did not get with Leah to begin with . We highly recommend Leah Leggett for real estate transactions in the Athens, GA area.
