I have helped buyers and sellers across Harrisonburg and Rockingham County since 2014, and I lead the Valley Homes Team at Funkhouser Real Estate Group. Over the last three years, I have closed more than 100 transactions totaling over $34 million on both the listing and buying sides: first homes, townhomes, acreage, investment properties, and vacation homes around Massanutten.

Before real estate, I studied psychology at Eastern Mennonite University and worked as a behavior specialist in the city schools. That background shapes how I work: clear information, fast answers, and a plan you understand before you sign anything. In 2014, I started the Harrisonburg Homeowner blog to share local market data with buyers and sellers.

I am a past president of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Association of REALTORS and a Virginia Living Top REALTOR. I also speak German.

Mattias is a good communicator, easy to work with, and a skilled negotiator with deep knowledge of the real estate scene in the Harrisonburg area.
