Tanner Gray

Tanner Gray has been connected to Topsail Island since 1995, when his family built a house here. He spent his summers on the island as a kid and has lived here full-time since 2004.

He has spent 19 years in real estate, including more than a decade managing hundreds of vacation rentals on Topsail before moving into sales full-time in 2018. That background is why clients call him: he can walk into a house already knowing its rental history, its storm exposure, and how it will actually perform — not just what it should list for. Before real estate, he worked in construction supply, which still shapes how he evaluates a home.

Tanner represents buyers and sellers across the island — Surf City, Topsail Beach, and North Topsail Beach — and the mainland towns of Hampstead, Holly Ridge, and Sneads Ferry. He is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), partners with area developers on new construction from lot selection through closing, and handles land and light commercial alongside residential. He has served on the board of the Topsail Island Association of REALTORS® and on the North Carolina REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee.

Across 100+ career sales, only two of his residential listings have expired.
