Homes are taking time to move, with a median of 119 days on market, though that is about 10 percent faster than last year.
By supply measures, Winston County leans strongly toward buyers, with 6.7 months of inventory compared with about 4.8 months across Alabama overall and a buyer’s market label locally. Only about 4 percent of recent sales closed above list price and the average sale-to-list ratio has edged down to just over 92 percent, giving buyers more room to negotiate than in many other areas.
