December’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $1,400,000—up 27.74% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $1,750,000 in Calabasas for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $1,911,250 in January.

Malibu Canyon had 2 new listings and 6 listings that went under contract in December, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 3—down 25.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in January.
