Kensington had 18 new listings and 18 listings that went under contract in April, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 25—down 16.67% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in May.
The median listing price for homes in Kensington fell 16.83% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $664,500. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year.
