For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $299,900 in Steuben County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $319,850 in June.

Fremont had 4 new listings and 2 listings that went under contract in May, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 7—up 16.67% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in June.

Of those 7 active listings, 14.29% reduced their price in the month of May. The median listing price for homes in Fremont fell 1.91% from April to May, bringing the current median listing price to $244,900. Based on projected data for June, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose sharply year-over-year.
