October’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $375,000—up 20.97% over the previous 12 months. Franklin County had 72 new listings and 71 listings that went under contract in October, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 142—down 5.96% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in November.
Of those 142 active listings, 30.99% reduced their price in the month of October. The median listing price for homes in Franklin County fell 12.61% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $348,700. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to fall.
