Far West Detroit is seeing relatively lean inventory in this rolling three-month period, with 16 active listings and only 2.7 months of supply. New listings are down sharply year over year, falling more than 40 percent, and pending sales are also lower than a year ago. Compared with the broader Detroit market, where months of supply sits at 7, Far West Detroit is noticeably tighter, supporting its current seller’s market label.

Home values have pushed higher even as listing activity has cooled.
