For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $270,000 in Monroe County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $265,000 in October.
Maplewood had 62 new listings and 49 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 24—up 26.32% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
The median listing price for homes in Maplewood fell 0.0% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $149,900. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year.
