September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $360,000—up 2.56% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $278,750 in Gastonia for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $260,630 in October.

Southeast Gastonia had 139 active listings in September, including 106 new listings. Overall, active listings were down 0.71% from the previous month.
