October’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $238,500—up 65.91% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $305,900 in North Dakota for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $310,400 in November.
Walsh County had 5 new listings and 5 listings that went under contract in October, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 15—down 6.25% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in November.
Of those 15 active listings, 20.0% reduced their price in the month of October. The median listing price for homes in Walsh County grew 27.32% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $254,000. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year.
