December’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $437,000—up 4.31% over the previous 12 months. Crook County had 25 new listings and 24 listings that went under contract in December, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 140—down 13.04% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in January.
Of those 140 active listings, 13.57% reduced their price in the month of December. The median listing price for homes in Crook County grew 1.2% from November to December, bringing the current median listing price to $430,000. Based on projected data for January, listing prices may continue to grow.
