For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $435,000 in Montgomery County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $415,000 in October.
Jenkintown had 11 new listings and 7 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 26—up 30.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
Of those 26 active listings, 34.62% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Jenkintown grew 120.13% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $350,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
