Palo Alto’s rolling three-month numbers show strong price growth compared to last year. The typical home value is up more than 40 percent year over year, indicating buyers are paying significantly more than a year ago. At the same time, the share of homes selling above list has surged by about 60 percent, reflecting increased buyer willingness to bid over asking.
