Wilkinsburg home values have climbed sharply over the past year, with the typical home value up more than 40 percent in this rolling three-month view. Homes sold also increased year over year, rising by more than 20 percent. At the same time, the share of properties selling above list price edged slightly lower compared with last year, showing some cooling in bidding intensity.

Looking at the latest rolling three-month period through May 2026, buyers are seeing more choices, as active listings are up from a year ago and months of supply has grown by about 20 percent. Even with more inventory, prices remain elevated, with the typical home value in this window well above levels seen in prior years.

Homes are generally taking longer to sell than they did a year ago, with median days on market more than tripling in the year-over-year comparison, which can give buyers more time to make decisions. However, nearly 40 percent of listings still go off the market within two weeks, and about 23 percent of recent sales closed above list price, signaling that desirable homes can still move quickly.
