September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $234,500—down 0.21% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $339,400 in Texas for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $336,150 in October.
Coryell County had 91 new listings and 78 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 304—down 3.18% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.

The median listing price for homes in Coryell County fell 3.51% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $220,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to fall.
