Learn more about what Highlands has to offer.

Highlands offers residents a welcoming, close-knit community with scenic surroundings, outdoor recreation opportunities, and convenient amenities that support a high quality of life.

Highlands feels distinct from nearby Baytown and Houston with its quieter, close‑knit atmosphere and easy access to the water. Many daily routines revolve around the San Jacinto River and Burnet Bay, where residents fish, launch boats, or simply enjoy the views after work. Neighborhood streets tend to be modest and practical, with a mix of longtime locals and newer families drawn by relative affordability and room to spread out.

Outdoor time is a big part of life here. San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site and Battleship Texas are minutes away, offering both history and wide‑open green spaces. Families appreciate local schools in the Goose Creek CISD, while commuters value quick connections to Interstate 10 for work in Baytown, Channelview, or downtown Houston. Everyday conveniences, from groceries to casual dining, are close at hand, with larger shopping and medical options just a short drive away in surrounding communities like La Porte.

Because Highlands is relatively small, homes do not linger on the market when priced correctly, and inventory can feel tight in popular pockets near the water. Whether you are planning a first move into Highlands or considering selling after many years, timing and preparation matter. Agent Pronto can connect you with a local real estate professional who understands this community and can guide both buyers and sellers through each step.

“Dane was referred to me my my sister and brother-in-law. His insight and knowledge was superb, especially as I am living out of state at this time. I would be more than happy to refer other friends and family to him. I could not have been in better hands as I was unfamiliar with the market. Extremely satisfied .”

“Amy is one of those agents that gets what you want from your first phone call. Her knowledge and experience were fantastic, she not only helped us understand the proxess as first time buyers. She also tells us what to look for and what to watch out for. She cares about her clients and doesn't see them as another number or another commission. I appreciate her honesty and ability to call out things that are out of the order. I recommend Amy any day and will work her with her again for any real estate matters.”

“I am a real estate investor and this is my 3rd home purchase with Esy. In every single one of these transactions, Esy showed a level of professionalism and work ethic that is rare to see in any profession. I consider myself a very fortunate investor to have someone like Esy help me with all of my real estate transactions. On this third purchase, I reached out to Esy during her Christmas time vacation away from Houston in the late hours of Dec 23rd, when a great deal appeared on the market. Without hesitation, Esy took the time to help me with all the questions that I had and she knocked out a purchase contract by midnight, which allowed us to win the contract the next morning! It is hard to describe in words how grateful I am to have her on my side. Esy is the best realtor that I've ever met and I truly admire her work ethic and passion for the job. Thank you!”

“As a first time buyer, the process to buy a home can be very intimidating and at times overwhelming. However, Sinai and her team made the process as easy and as manageable as possible with reminders and due dates along the way so you always know what's coming up next. With Sinai's help I was able to find a place that I am so happy with. My only regret is not doing this sooner!”

“Kelly is a person that has lots of energy and is a go getter! She was very flexible and was not shy in pointing out things that may be a problem or things we should really be looking for in a home. Even now after our purchase is complete, we are still in communications to talk about next steps and getting recommendations for local contractors or even restaurants (since we came from out of state). We would highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking to move to the Houston area!”

“Mrs. Cherri has been phenomenal to work with not only as a realtor but as a person in general. Outside of her professionalism, She has such a warm and welcoming demeanor that was contagious throughtout not only our selling process but also when we first purchased the property. Cherri was always on top of communication, full transparency with any information that came forth, and full of information and other resources when we first moved to the area. We couldn't be more thankful to have found her for our time in the area and we will always recommend her to anyone we speak with that will be moving to central Texas.”
