July’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $349,000—up 2.65% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $415,000 in Williamson County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $411,710 in August.

Liberty Hill had 9 new listings and 7 listings that went under contract in July, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 64—down 4.48% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in August.

Of those 64 active listings, 50.0% reduced their price in the month of July. The median listing price for homes in Liberty Hill fell 2.86% from June to July, bringing the current median listing price to $340,000. Based on projected data for August, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year.
